Assembly Programme
Assembly Programme
At Ellesmere Park High School, assemblies play an important role in supporting our students' personal growth, wellbeing, and wider educational experience. Our assemblies are thoughtfully planned throughout the year to enrich school life and reinforce our school values.
Assemblies at Ellesmere Park are used to:
Celebrate achievement
We regularly hold celebration assemblies to recognise student success, effort, and progress. These events highlight outstanding achievements across the curriculum and promote a culture of ambition and pride.
Support Personal Development and our School Values
Assemblies form a key strand of our Personal Development and SMSC provision. Through them, students explore themes such as Inclusion, British Values, Kindness, and Responsible Citizenship.
Provide Topical and Enriching content
Guest speakers and specialist organisations are invited into school to deliver engaging and meaningful assemblies. These sessions broaden students' understanding of the world and connect learning to real-life issues and experiences.
Share guidance and key information
Assemblies are also used to guide students through important milestones, including career information, next steps, and key transitions such as Year 9 to Year 10.
Develop Student Leadership
Our student leaders play an active role in supporting assemblies, particularly those linked to national awareness events and whole-school campaigns.
